Sizing for Rings
Unless you are going to wear your ring as a necklace, then the right ring size is an essential. Once made rings cannot be resized. The ring needs to be tight enough not to fall off, but it also has to be loose enough to slide over your knuckle. The time of the day and also the weather affect the measurement. Because in the early morning or cold weather, fingers are smaller and when the weather is too hot, the fingers are bigger. The evening is the best time to measure your finger size while they are warm. If the ring is going to be a surprise, you can ask a close friend or family member to secretly borrow her/his ring and go down to a jeweller to learn the size. Please also remember that right hand and left hand are different so the finger sizes are different too. If you go to a jeweller to be sized, then please ask to be sizer for a “wedding Band” rather than a wedding wing, as out rings are slightly wider than the average ring and will measure up to ½ a size bigger than normal.
